Previously, I wrote about the law of vibration and the golden
rule in part two of these series. Therefore, there are three more fundamental
laws yet to be explained and they are the law of opposites, law of balance and
poise and the law of cyclicity and rhythm.
These laws as earlier explained in part two, are laws we see
all around us in almost everything we do. It requires no excessive ponder over
it, but a simple reflection and the truth of these laws will flash within our
minds. They are laws if well understood, can help us live a more fulfilled life.
The law of opposites
Everything in nature is in pairs, if you cannot see the opposite
pair in a thing, then you have not understood the nature of any of them. This
law is not man made, it has been there from the very beginning, when darkness
and light was born, and man as well as the universe, can do nothing but to
observe this law.
Within this law is the principle of duality, and the
principle of gender. For this reason, the greatest of philosophers have likened
God to be both a man and a woman. Do not think that they mean that God has an
appearance of a man and a woman, no; but that in him and without him, is a dual
energy upon which everything we see is animated to life.
Why is this law important to man? If a man does not feel
pain, how can he understand joy? If a man does not suffer, how can he understand
peace? Tell me dear reader, if a man does not die, how can he understand life? If
a man is not a man, how can he appreciate a woman? For this reason, the first
man, cried in his lonely garden, “give me something other than myself” and a
woman was brought to him, and in praise and appreciation he said “this is the
flesh of my flesh and the bone of my bone.”
If a man understands the law of opposites, no matter the situation
he finds himself, he knows that an opposite of that situation exists, the only
problem being that he does not have the will power to manifest it.
The Law of balance and poise
One cannot understand balance if one does not understand
opposites. One cannot harness the power of opposites, if one does not find the
power of balance. For this reason, these two laws go together.
Take a good look at the sun and the moon, darkness and
light, two great opposites, yet between them is balance. Why do I go too far? Take a good look at man
and woman, what do you see when they come together? balance. If this is not the
case, then it is only so because we are overwhelmed with so much vices. Where there is vice there can be no balance. Take
away man’s vices, then you have a great balance between a man and a woman. If
man remains to himself, and the woman to herself, where will a child come from?
Therefore, the child is the balance while the man and the woman are opposites.
Take a look at the planets, it’s in balance that they
revolve round the sun. Greatest of philosophers have called this balance, “the
excluded middle”. Middle meaning the
balance, excluded because you need to find it, and separate it from the
opposites. When one has found balance and has mastered it, then such a man has
found life. For he is truly living, while the rest are walking dead.
The law of Cyclicity and Rhythm.
A very obvious law, one that is irrefutable. It is evident
in time, evident in the way the earth rotates round its axis, evident in the seasons,
evident in the cycle of life, as we find the condition of an infant, to be
likened to that of an old man. In all
these cyclicity and movement, there is rhythm and momentum to it.
This law commenced from the very beginning when that single
spec of light vibrated, and darkness was set alight. This vibratory light, swirled
in its movement, taking a cyclical motion as a result. Descending into matter,
it deposited its principle in it. We find this law in the swirling motion of a
man’s cell, the cyclic nature of time, the shape of a rose, the shape of a
snail’s shell and many more.
If one understands this law, one truly understands the
saying; nothing is permanent. Therefore, if you find yourself in a difficult
situation, remember this law and begin to work patiently on the opposite
condition you desire for yourself. If you persist at it, the universe will dance
and rotate for you, and will bring you the opposite situation you desire.
However, we must remember that he who masters the “Golden
Rule” need not focus on these laws. For such a man, all these laws bend and
submit to his will. Seek ye therefore
Love, for it is the greatest of all laws and in it is the life you seek.
